Formidable steep cliffs, taluses and granite ledges of the White Sea coast ... It's hard to imagine what they have seen in their lifetime. It is difficult to understand how much power and energy they have absorbed.
Rocks, gray with moss, with hats of pine forests, exposing their brown foothills during low tide, endless waves running from the horizon, either steely and angry in bad weather, or kind, lit by the midnight sun on a long polar day, but equally icy. The wind carrying the spicy smells of the sea. Seagulls nesting on small rocky islands and seals basking on rocks.
